besides great results in my tries to bring texture maps to renderman sometimes somethings went wrong:
(thats my first try with displacement)

The only thing missing are displacement bounds for the primitives (or shader). It’s a necessary attribute to add to all renderman displaced surfaces so that they know how far to displace (sort of speak…)
yes, your right. i did add the displacment bound now and simple displacement is working
